Very Pinteresting: Dining Rooms

Now that I'm updating my dining room, I've been searching for inspiration online. One of the easiest places to find ideas is Pinterest. If you haven't become a Pinterest junkie yet, watch out! It can be pretty addictive. Let me know if you need an invitation to join, and I'll send you one.

Below are some of my favorite dining spaces. I really must have the chandelier in this first room. I realize it's an Italian antique candle chandelier that was electrified and is most certainly out of my budget, but still...

Come to think of it, I'll just take the entire room and be done with it. Or, how about these other yummy rooms...

Oh my word. I just realized that nearly every photo has white chairs. (Reality check: You have 4 little boys. You just got rid of white carpet. What are you thinking?) But, it's soooo crisp, clean and pretty!

I'll be back soon with "during" photos of our hardwood floor installation, and I have an incredible home to feature on the next "Friendly Places" that you will not want to miss!!

Thanks for stopping by, and have a fabulous day :)

  1. Such beautiful rooms! I love what you love, Karen! And agree that first chandelier, is a must have. Have yet to get into Pinterest, as I know it will be an addiction and goodness knows I certainly don't need another addiction! Thanks for the beautiful inspiration!

  4. Oh, I love your "reality check"... LOL

I'm always like that... dreaming with these impeccable homes that it's almost impossible to have kids around... at least, not allowed in those rooms. I'd think...

I love the dining rooms you've chosen.

I've been to pinterest, but I don't have an account yet. I think I'd spend too much time there! LOL Maybe I should give a try... :-)

    Have a great day, sweetie.

  8. Hi Carolyn,
I LOVE your blog and I LOVE your pins! I didn't find a button on your website to follow you on Pinterest, so I searched for Sweet Chaos (0) and Carolyn (509). Although I wouldn't mind spending all day on Pinterest, it would be a lot easier if you could direct me to your Pinterest board and/or put a link on your website :)

  10. I love your inspiration images. I'm a big fan of slips so I've saved some of these same images. One thing about them...you can wash them. Have a great week. Mona

  11. What a lovely collection of dining rooms. I tried to choose a favourite but there is something I love about every one of them. I'm with you about boys and white not being a good combination. Yes you can wash slip covers, but every day!?! x Sharon
